SVIRM celebrated the National Youth Day in Arakere, Mandya District. Swami Muktidananda, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru presided over the function and gave valuable advice to the student community.
About 1000 children from local and nearby institutions participated in the event. Drawing competition, Bhagavad Gita chanting, Essay writing and Pick & Speak competitions were organized as a part of the event. Rural children from 8 different institutions in and around Arakere participated.
